Oktober 27.10.-31.10 2011 (Date not confirmed )- International TV Festival of Montenegro represents the largest expo of TV Production and Licencing in Noveber in the City of Bar which is 30 Km north of Ulcinj.
The International TV festival Bar is the largest media (TV) event in South East Europe. From its very beginning (1994) until today, its objective has been to present and incite, through review of programmes of highest quality from European countries and even broader, TV creativity and develop co-operation among TV stations of the region and Europe, to establish programme and institutional connection among TV stations and in this way incite general co-operation among countries in the region and Europe.
International TV festival takes place in the last week of October. From 2000 when it was established as Non – Governmental Organisation, its success grows. It has more than 30 countries and 70 TV stations participating in the Festival. This Festival, as one of the most significant events in Montenegro had as participants TV stations such as RAI (Italy), Cineteve and Art (France), ORT (Russia), BBC (Great Britain), state TV stations from Sweden, Romania, Bulgaria, Spain, etc, but also TV stations from other continents such as China Central TV station, state TV stations from Egypt, Israel and Iran, then TV stations and production houses from USA, Canada and Chile.
Also, one of the largest projects realized in co-operation with Italian state TV station RAI was establishing TV bridge with RAI, between Bar and Bari, on the occasion of 100 years from first telegraphy link between Montenegro and Italy.
